Time for famewhores Kevin Kreider (Kate’s brother), and his wife Jodi to make airwaves again on CBS’ ‘The Early Show.’
Jodi, who used to be featured on the TLC series ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8,’ says she initially thought the series was a good idea.
“We thought it was very innocent at the time,” she says. “It quickly turned into more and more demands from Jon and Kate from the network. It turned into 40 episodes in a six-month span.”
“There were cameras in the children’s bedroom at one point, and they were filming all year round. These were very huge concerns for us.”
Since Kate no longer speaks to Kevin and Jodi, the couple has taken it upon themselves to be “the voices” of their nieces and nephews.
Kevin states, “They’re being viewed as a commodity.” Yes, I’m sure the kids would say that… commodity.
While Jodi elaborates, “They’re being exploited, and it’s time for America to see the situation for what it really is.” Yes, let’s do that. Here’s the scoop… Jody and Kevin got kicked off the gravy train and now they want to blow the whistle on something that everybody already knows. The Gosselin’s are in it for the money.
Duh! Does any fool really think Jon and Kate would have opened up their home and pieholes to ‘document their children’s lives’ if there were no coin or freebies involved? Get real!
Jodi says, “Unfortunately, there are no laws protecting children in reality TV shows, and it’s time for the public to be aware of this. These children are very aware of the cameras in their homes. The home is their workplace. This is not a healthy environment for kids to be raised in.”
Back in the day when they were on speaking terms, Kevin says he tried to discuss his concerns with Jon and Kate (you know, the PARENTS?) with them telling him, “‘This is what we chose. This is how we’re going to provide for them.'”
“We feel that they’ve chosen this path with disregard to their children’s safety, security,” he said.
Hmmm. And having their aunt and uncle speak on national TV accusing their parents of exploitation will surely give the kids warm fuzzies all over.
Jodi claims the children have told her they don’t like the constant cameras in their home.
“They don’t want the cameras around. They have told me personally. They would say, ‘Aunt Jodi, I don’t like the cameras on every vacation with us.'”
“Kids have bad moments, and they cry. Having a camera zoom in on a crying child… this should not be a form of entertainment.”
Oh, ya! Tell that to ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos.’
“It’s time to really put priorities first,” Jodi goes on. “They say children is their priority, but clearly it is not.”
Are you listening kids? Aunt Jodi says Mommy and Daddy don’t love you first!
