Kate’s brother and sister-in-law Kevin and Jodi Kreider say Jon has a contract that lets him date other women as long as it doesn’t interfere with the filming of their reality show, ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8.’
“Jon can have girlfriends, do his own thing and has the freedom to do what he wants on certain days — so long as he fulfills his professional obligations in regards to the show,” says Kevin.
Jodi says, “They both ignored their marital problems to keep the show’s ratings high, and that it takes many people to pull off the ruse of showcasing their dysfunctional marriage as a happy one for the cameras. This is a train wreck.”
A former Gosselin’s nurse Angela Krall says Kate fired 40 nurses and nurse’s aides over a three-month period. Krall says Kate dismissed an aid on the spot after she washed her hands in the kitchen rather than the bathroom. Fired? She should have been shot!!
“Kate flipped. She thought it was cross-contamination,” says Krall.
And that’s not all. When Kate’s dad, pastor Kenton Kreider showed up with cribs for the sextuplets provided by his congregation, Kate wasn’t exactly grateful.
“They didn’t match and Kate rejected them,” says an unnamed family source. “Things like that caused a rift.”
Krall adds that the sextuplets got their matching cribs and stated Kate “thought they were owed stuff. The money factor was huge.”
